A Club Fair for Tunxis students will be held on campus April 3 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Administration (100) Building main hallway. Come by for food and fun as you learn more about student clubs on campus. Call 860.773.1362 for more.

Jazz at Noon

The campus and community are invited to “Jazz at Noon” with saxophonist and composer Kris Allen and his ensemble on April 2 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Room 6-127. Admission is free.
The afternoon features performances by Allen’s saxophone, guitar, drum and bass ensemble, interspersed with discussion (12:15-12:30 p.m.). A young protege of the great Jackie McLean, Allen has performed and recorded with jazz legends such as Gerald Wilson, Illinois Jacquet, and Mario Pavone as well as modern starts like Winard Harper, Andy Laverne and Helen Sung. “Faces of Survival” Exhibit on View 4/1-5

“Faces of Survival Exhibit” will be on view daily April 1-5 from 8 a.m.- 9 p.m. in the Administration Building Main Lobby to commemorate National Sexual Assault Awareness Month in April. On loan from Connecticut Sexual Assault Crisis Services, Inc. (CONNSACS), the tabletop display uses personal stories and pictures of 26 Connecticut sexual assault survivors to educate the public about the impact of sexual violence and to help combat the stigma surrounding the issue.
