Gain knowledge and skills as you train for an entry-level position as a veterinary assistant. Vet Assistants work in a variety of settings including animal hospitals and clinics, animal shelters, laboratories and zoos. They perform front office functions, assist in providing routine and emergency care, perform laboratory procedures, assist in dental and surgical procedures, and take x-rays. Navy blue scrub top must be worn to clinical experience.

  • Dental/Surgical Assisting
  • Optional: Veterinary Clinical Experience – 24 hours (in addition to classroom time below)
