7. Clubs & Organizations
Student Government Association
All students, both full-time and part-time, are members of the Student Government Association (SGA). The representatives of the SGA help to plan activities and provide a means of communication within the College structure. The SGA has the responsibility of administering the calendar of school events, managing the Student Activities budget, and planning college-wide programs.
Clubs and student organizations offer students a chance to grow outside the classroom. Many clubs are program related such as The Art Club, D.A.R.C. Club, Human Services Club, and others. Some clubs such as The Tunxis Student Newspaper, Tunxis PC Club and Celebration of Womanhood are open to students with a more general interest. New clubs are always forming to address the interests of Tunxis students. A listing of the clubs can be found within the Tunxis Student Handbook.
