24-hour Marathon of the Arts presented by Tunxis Art Club
Over 80 Tunxis students have been invited to participate in an intensive and creative 24-hour Marathon of the Arts that will challenge them to make work, non-stop, for an entire day beginning at 9:00 am on Friday, April 9 and finishing at 9:00 am on Saturday, April 10. Students have the option of participating in one of four studio options including drawing, painting/sculpture, photography and creative writing. Hosted by the Tunxis Art Club, the marathon is not a class but an open, explorative and collaborative environment in which students can immerse themselves in the creative process. Participants will be provided with five meals, inspiring subjects, some live entertainment and a selection of materials. Any student interested in participating should contact Carianne Garside at 860.773.1647.
