Anonymous screenings for a mood check-up will be held Oct. 8 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Administration Building main corridor during National Depression Screening Day. Participants take a private questionnaire that addresses mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and PTSD, and will have the opportunity to speak with a screener or counselor. Referrals to community support services and educational information will be available. The event is held annually in October to spread awareness of depression and related disorders, and to educate the public about symptoms and treatments.
