Paintings by TCC Instructor, Author on Display at Gallery Opening Reception and Exhibition

Abstract paintings by Ted Mikulski, author and Tunxis lecturer in art, are on display October 14-November 5 at the Wallace Barnes and Barbara Hackman Franklin Art Gallery.

The opening reception is Wed., Oct. 14, 4-7 p.m., and includes a book signing for Mikulski’s newly released book Art is Dead: A Manifesto for Revolution in the Visual Arts (Artoholic Publishing, LLC, October 2009). Refreshments will be served.

A panel discussion on the topic of Mikulski’s book, entitled “Is Art Dead?” will be held October 28, 6-7:30 p.m. in Room 6-127.

Mikulski’s book will be available for purchase at the reception and panel discussion.
