The public is invited to “Playful,” an exhibition of prints, drawings, collage and paintings by Elizabeth McNally, Oct. 6-Nov. 5 in the Wallace Barnes and Barbara Hackman Franklin Art Gallery at Tunxis. An opening reception with refreshments will be held Wednesday, Oct. 6 from 4-7 p.m.

An artist and printmaker, McNally chooses to work in both representational and abstract non-objective styles. Key elements in her representational work are humor, animals, and the graphic use of line. In abstract works, color, line, pattern and the properties of the material and medium are the sole focus. She holds a bachelor of fine arts degree from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago.
