Tunxis Community College recently presented Tunxis student Angela Pike with an iPod Touch on behalf of Ed2Go, the College’s online continuing education course provider.

Pike, who was chosen at random by Ed2Go, has taken 15 Tunxis Ed2Go online continuing education courses since 2008.

“Online courses are very convenient, especially since I work two jobs,” said Pike, of Southington, whose full-time job is administrative assistant for Beekley Corporation’s sales team in Bristol. “My courses have helped me a lot at work, and I’m hoping the new skills I’ve learned will help me land a promotion.”

Tunxis offers over 300 online Ed2Go courses each semester through Tunxis Workforce Development and Continuing Education. Registrations for online courses with start dates of October 21 and November 11 are still being accepted.

Tunxis Community College is located at the junction of Routes 6 and 177 in Farmington. For more information on online continuing education courses, visit Ed2Go.com/tunxis on the Web, or call 860.773.1450.
