Tunxis@Bristol Celebrates Student Art Installation

An opening reception for “The Essence of Bristol”, featuring works by Tunxis students will be held on June 8, 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Tunxis@Bristol, 430 North Main Street.

The student entries for the permanent installation at Tunxis@Bristol were inspired by prominent Bristol organizations. Included in the collection are “Carousel Museum” by Gerson Escobar, of Hartford; “Boys and Girls Club” by Amanda Brzozowy, of New Britain; “Rockwell Park,” by Nicole Bruce, of Bristol; “Barnes Group,” by Rocco Antolini, of Plantsville; and “Main Street Community Foundation- Women & Girls’ Fund,” by Sarah Wollman, of Burlington.

The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.  Those interested in attending are asked to respond by June 3 to Sue Holden at 860.314.4708 or sholden@tunxis.edu.
