$99 One-Day Photo Workshops Offered at Tunxis

CTPhoto Workshops at Tunxis Community College is now registering students for its one-day photo workshops to be held on select Saturdays in May and June.  The non-credit courses are open to all those interested in the fields of photography, graphic design, art direction and digital photography.  Workshop instructors are nationally-recognized photographers who are ready to share their tips, tricks and trade secrets with students.

Scheduled to run on May 8 & 22 and June 12 & 26, these one-day classes provide hands-on instruction on both MAC and PC platforms in techniques and practices such as Photoshop for Beginners, Photoshop for Illustrators, and Photoshop for Graphic Designers and Art Directors. Courses in digital photography include How to Take Better Pictures and How to Use Your Digital Camera.

“Our Saturday program offers intensive instruction that combines affordability and convenience in a state-of-the-art setting,” said David Archambault, director of the Workshops.  “This is a great opportunity for anyone to gain confidence in their ability and apply what they learn to their own creative expression.”

The cost per class is $99 and meets for eight hours on either a 9:00 am to 5:00 pm or 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm schedule. Because the course is offered at Tunxis Community College, a two-year accredited college, course registrants qualify for student discounts on Adobe® software products. For more information or to register, visit  tunxis.commnet.edu/ctphoto or call 860.255.3701.
