Tunxis Community College’s Barnes-Franklin Art Gallery announces a call for entries for an exhibition of community artists. The deadline to enter is October 2.

Approximately six to 10 artists will be chosen to exhibit their works at the show, which runs from October 17-November 15. An opening reception will be held on October 17. A 25% commission on all works sold will be used for several Tunxis student community service projects during the 2012-13 academic year, which will help those in need.

Artists should send four to six jpeg images for consideration to William Kluba, director of the Tunxis Barnes-Franklin Art Gallery and curator for the show. All works will be insured during the exhibition.

For more on how to submit works, visit the Tunxis website at tunxis.edu/exhibition, call 860.773.1621 or email William Kluba at [email protected].

Tunxis is located at the junction of Routes 6 and 177 in Farmington.
