CTPhoto Workshops at Tunxis this July

CT Media/Photography Institute (CTPhoto Workshops) announces registration for its Summer 2010 program that will run this July at Tunxis Community College.

Now in its second year, CTPhoto Workshops brings nationally-recognized teaching talent and workshops to the Central Connecticut region.  Instructors include George DeWolfe (studied with Ansel Adams), Bobbi Lane, Robert Meyer, Terry Falk, Craig Barber, Richard Newman, Philip Porcella, Keith Johnson, Jeff Shaffer (Adobe ® certified) and many others.  Additionally, professional digital illustrators and graphic designers will teach new courses specifically designed to share their unique working styles, tips, tricks and secrets of using Adobe Photoshop® & Lightroom® .

Course offerings this summer include a broader range of combinations including 5-day workshops, 2-day courses and the continuation of the 1-day Saturday introductory courses. All courses are fully “hands-on student learning” using the latest in Apple and PC technology, cutting-edge software, and lighting equipment. Courses range in price from $99 for the 1-day classes to $499 for the 5-day program and are designed to meet most any budget or schedule.

“Photographers and designers are looking for shorter courses to supercharge their photographic and photo manipulation skills that are not only cost-effective but also convenient. This summer, we are proud to offer courses that meet these needs,” said David Archambault, Director of CTPhoto Workshops. “We are thrilled that we can bring some of the most nationally recognized names in the industry to our region to teach at prices up to 60% less than most other workshops. It’s a tremendous opportunity.”

Courses are non-credit and registration is open to all. For more information or to register, please visit or call 860.255.3701.
