Connecticut residents are invited to submit their short video/films for a competition culminating in the 3rd Annual Short Film Festival at Tunxis Community College in Farmington. The deadline for the competition is April 1.

Films of 20 minutes or less may be submitted in the following genres: comedy, drama, documentary, animation/FX, cultural heritage, and Connecticut high school student. Cash prizes will be awarded to the winning films, which will be shown April 20 from 7-9 p.m. in Room 201. Submissions must be on DVDs, with an entry fee of $10 for students and $20 for others.

The competition is open to Connecticut residents only and will be judged by members of the student Media Club at Tunxis, which is sponsoring the event. For more details on how to enter, call Patrice Hamilton at 860.773.1643 or email [email protected].
