Holiday Festival at Tunxis

The community is invited to the 3rd Annual Holiday Festival at Tunxis Community College in Farmington on Sat., October 23, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the College’s courtyard. Admission to the festival is free. Over 35 vendors will sell crafts, candy, toys, clothing, accessories and other items. Chair massages, astrology readings, and pumpkin painting will also be available, and the New Britain Rock Cats’ mascot Rocky will make an appearance from 12-1 p.m. Dance, martial arts, and informational demonstrations will be ongoing throughout the festival.

A portion of the proceeds from the festival will go to the Tunxis Student Emergency Fund, which enables the College to distribute small amounts of cash to less fortunate students for emergency essentials.

In the event of rain, the festival will be held indoors on campus. For more information, contact Elizabeth Keifer at 860.255.3658 or ekeifer@tunxis.edu.

Tunxis is located at the junction of Routes 6 and 177.
