• Public Safety Career Fair

Law enforcement and public safety representatives from federal, state, and local agencies will be available to talk about internship and career opportunities in their respective departments. For more information, call 860.773.1646 or email [email protected].

• Alcohol Screening Day

Participants can learn about the effects of drinking on family members, when driving, at work, on physical and mental health, and academics. An anonymous self-assessment asks participants about drinking habits and how alcohol may be affecting their life. Educational material will be provided, and counselors will be available to screen in private as needed. Participants will also be able to try on “beer goggles,” the Fatal Vision Goggles that help simulate the distorted vision and motor impairment that can result from using alcohol. For more information, please call 860.773.1506, or email [email protected].
