Register for Summer Courses at Tunxis

Registration for summer credit courses starts April 1 at Tunxis Community College in Farmington. Almost 150 traditional classroom and online courses are offered in five- and eight-week sessions: May 23-June 27; May 25-July 20; and July 5-August 8.

Students who attend other colleges may enroll in courses at Tunxis and transfer the credits earned during the summer to their baccalaureate or associate degree programs. Students can save an average of $800 or more per course by attending Tunxis for their summer transfer credits.

Among the courses Tunxis offers that transfer directly to meet four-year degree requirements at many colleges are: Accounting, Intermediate Algebra, Anatomy & Physiology, Art Appreciation, Art History, Biology, Calculus for Business & Social Science, Chemistry, Earth Science, English Composition, Macroeconomics, Microbiology, Microeconomics, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, Public Speaking, Spanish I & II, Statistics, Sociology, U.S. History I & II, and Western Civilization I & II.

Visit www.tunxis.commnet.edu/courses/catalog-schedule.php to view summer credit courses online. Registration for summer credit courses can be completed by mail, fax, web or in person. Financial aid is available to those students who qualify, and eligible veterans can use the GI Bill for summer courses.
