"Youthful Abandon" by Jonathan Judd

Tunxis Community College invites the public to the Tunxis Alumni Exhibition, held May 2-31 in the Wallace Barnes and Barbara Hackman Franklin Art Gallery. The opening reception is Monday, May 2, 5-7 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

The works of 25 artists who graduated from Tunxis art programs will be on display representing a variety of media including paintings, drawings, ceramic sculpture, photography, and digital art.

The exhibition is among a series of events at Tunxis Community College celebrating 40 years of education in the Farmington Valley and beyond. The College first opened for classes in October 1970 and currently offers over 60 associate’s degrees and certificates, including visual fine arts, graphic design, photography, and interactive media programs.
