Joanna Robinson (second from right), is one of several Tunxis “Drawing III” students whose works will be on display at the “Tunxis Drawing III” Art Event. Robinson, who sings the national anthem at Pioneer Valley Pro Wrestling events, used male wrestlers as models in her posters of Greek gods.  She is shown at an earlier Tunxis exhibition with (left to right) Justin “The Hammer” Tunis as Dionysus , “PVP Champion” Jonny Idol as Zeus, and “Sassy Wild Horse” TK O’Ryan as Poseidon.

The “Drawing III” class at Tunxis is part of the college’s visual fine arts associate degree. To learn more about the visual fine arts program at Tunxis Community College, visit tunxis.edu/programs.

From fine arts, health, and technology to liberal arts & sciences programs, Tunxis offers over 60 associate’s degrees and certificates, providing critical thinking and problem-solving skills that prepare students for transfer to bachelor’s degree programs and employment in areas with industry need. Tunxis is located at the junction of Routes 6 and 177 in Farmington.
