Tunxis Students Meet with Legislators

Tunxis Community College students hosted a dinner for area legislators on March 8 to talk about the importance of funding for the college and share personal stories of how Tunxis has helped them attain their educational goals.

Among those who attended the student-funded event were Sen. Terry Gerratana (D-New Britain), and Reps. John Piscopo (R-76), Whit Betts (R-78), Betty Boukus (D-22), Frank Nicastro (D-73), Bill Wadsworth (R-21), and Bobby Sanchez (D-25).
