Students who have not decided on a college program or career direction should visit career services. Individual career counseling will help to clarify possibilities, suggest resources, and help students move toward career decisions.
Interest Inventories
Students may take the Strong Interest Inventory free of charge to provide them with additional insight and direction.  Contact the Advising Center to get the Password and User ID and then you can explore your interest by clicking www.online.cpp.com

Educational Options
After you have explored your own interests and aptitudes, and discovered which occupations suit you best, your next step is to consider educational options that will lead you to your career goals. Tunxis degree and certificate programs offer many concentrations which may appeal to you.
College Central Network
Tunxis students are encouraged to register in our online employment database, College Central Network (also known as CCN). To use the database you must have an e-mail address and should also have your resume and cover letter approved at the Career Center prior to uploading them to the site (Please call us at 860.773.1504 or stop by the Advising Center so we can help you with this). Employers list new positions on CCN every day, as well as search the site themselves for potential candidates. Once you register in this database you will receive e-mail notices about jobs and related events. To register at College Central Network, go to www.collegecentral.com/tunxis

Students are encouraged to explore occupational objectives and opportunities.
