Effective Business Writing

Our QuickBooks training class covers the fundamentals of using QuickBooks to track the finances of a small business. You will learn how to set up a new company, work with lists, set up inventory, process invoices, work with bank accounts, process payments, and enter and pay bills. Excel 2013: Basic Skills

Sept. 28, 2017 (TH) 9AM – 4PM. (6 hours of class)

Our class will familiarize you with spreadsheet terminology and the fundamental concepts of Microsoft Excel . You be able to identify Excel window components, navigating worksheets, and down loading templates. You will enter and edit text, values and formulas and modify page setup. You will learn simple functions and much more.

Project Management Essentials

Oct. 18& 25, 2017 (W) 9AM – 4:00PM 12 hours of training, CEU’s are available

Whether a small, large, or in-between project, they all share a number of essential elements. They are temporary and often unique, but all require focus to create a product, service, or other results. Project Management Essentials follows the development and management of a project from start to finish. The workshop details the essentials and covers leadership in project management. Students are encourages to bring their project ideas or active projects to the workshop.

Effective Leadership Techniques for Women

Dec. 14, 2017, (T) 9:00AM – 4:00PM. 6 hours of class

This session is designed to help women asses their current leadership skills and improve those that they see as needing the most improvement. It stresses confidence, power, and natural skills that women bring to leadership. This session also helps women become more successful dealing with conflicts and interactions that make them feel powerless in relationships with difficult people. Techniques for ways to manage conflicting priorities will also be discussed.
