As a precaution due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus), college buildings are currently closed and all classes will be held online-only starting Monday, March 23.

Tunxis Community College offers two conferral dates. The conferral date pertains to the date students will have met all program requirements for their degree/certificate.

Semester of Conferral Graduation Application Deadline Conferral Date
Spring May 1 May 27
Fall November 1 December 31

Students must apply to graduate by one of the application deadlines above. Program requirements MUST be met by the end of the semester to which they plan to graduate.

Graduation applications are available at the Records Office and at the links below. Students may also apply for both conferral dates if they are planning to meet requirements for different programs at different times.

Students who do not meet requirements by December for fall conferral and plan to graduate in the spring MUST reapply for the spring conferral date.

Graduation applications must be accompanied by a signed DegreeWorks audit (advisor and student signature) and submitted to the Records Office.
