Update on Student-Initiated Course Withdrawals from the Campus CEO

3/24/2020

Dear Tunxis Students,

We realize that this is a stressful and uncertain time.  All of us in the CSCU system are committed to supporting you as we finish out the spring semester.

In consultation with the BOR, we have temporarily placed a hold on the processing of student-initiated course withdrawals. This measure is not designed  to discourage you from withdrawing but rather to ensure that you have ample opportunity to speak to the right staff member on our campus to determine what is best for you and your academic goals. Please note that in certain circumstances, students receiving financial aid who withdraw from classes may be responsible for repaying a portion of the funds awarded to them. If you utilize financial aid to attend Tunxis and have questions or concerns about withdrawing from courses please contact the Office of Financial Aid Services:  [email protected]

If you need to, you will be able to withdraw from classes effective on the date you wish, but no withdrawals will be processed before April 3.

Stay tuned for more information.  In the meantime please reach out to your instructors for help and support as we make the change to our learning environment.

Sincerely,
Dr. Darryl Reome
