Dear Tunxis Students,
We understand that these are difficult and uncertain times for many of our students, but I want to assure you that Tunxis Community College faculty and staff remain focused on helping you reach your educational and career goals. There are a number of important steps that we have taken to be more accommodating and flexible as you enroll for summer sessions and the fall semester, including:
- All campuses within the CSCU system are maintaining pay for student workers.
- We are offering opportunities to extend and defer existing payment plans. Students with an outstanding balance on their account and who wish to register for summer session or fall semester courses should contact: [email protected]. Our staff will work with you on creative repayment and/or financial aid solutions in an effort to resolve your current balance.
- And the Tunxis Foundation will continue to support the Tunxis community through scholarship awards, ongoing fundraising for the Student Emergency Fund, and in the funding of student technology.
Tunxis Community College will soon receive an allocation from the federal government under the CARES act that the college will use for emergency financial assistance to students. We will use this money and every other resource we can find to help you succeed in these challenging times.
