Tunxis Community College invites the community to “Cheers to Tunxis” Winter Blues & Brews craft beer and cider tasting, the first of a year-long series of celebrations commemorating its 50th anniversary, on Feb. 27 from 5-7 p.m. in the College’s 600 Building, Tunxis Room.
The evening will feature brew samples and bar bites, an art exhibition, silent auction, and live music by The Green Jazz Band.
Advanced tickets are $25, and can be purchased online at tunxis.edu/donate, or email [email protected]. Tickets will also be available at the door for $30.

A series of events celebrating the college’s opening in 1970 are planned at Tunxis Community College during the 2020 academic year.
