The Tunxis Philosophy Club will host a talk on “Flying Spaghetti Monsterism” by the Rev. Mandy Dutkiewicz on Friday, Nov. 22  from 5-7 p.m. in Room 6-127. The community is invited, along with new students, alumni of the Club and those who have taken college philosophy courses over the past few years.

Dutkiewicz, a Tunxis student, will discuss a number of topics including why some believe the international decrease in pirates is the cause of global warming; how it may be possible that when scientists carbon date a fossil, an invisible force akin to spaghetti and meatballs is present,”changing the results with His Noodly Appendage;” and what role cosmic intoxication during the creation of the universe may have played in spawning many of the problems we face in life.

Please bring a noodle dish to share—the club hopes to have a number of international dishes. Email Philosophy Club president Arda Tezcan at [email protected] by Monday, 11/18 if possible, with a note of the dish you will contribute.
