Sen. Will Haskell and Rep. Gregg Haddad, chairs of the Higher Education and Employment Advancement Committee, will visit Tunxis to present on the Debt-Free College initiative on Oct. 30 from 2:20-3:20 p.m. in Room 201. Students, faculty and staff are welcome to come and gain a better understanding of this important initiative. Public Act 19-117 requires CSCU to begin providing scholarship awards to eligible community college students starting in fall 2020. These last-dollar scholarships are intended to eliminate out-of-pocket tuition or fee costs for full-time Connecticut students.
