The SNAP E & T program is designed to provide eligible individuals receiving Supplemental Nutrition Assistance with job training at no cost to them.

Eligibility
Individuals are eligible if they meet the following criteria:

  • Receive SNAP benefits from the Department of Social Services;
  • Are NOT receiving TFA (Temporary Family Assistance) or TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families);
  • Are able and motivated to obtain employment upon successful completion of the program;
  • And have not been enrolled at a SNAP E & T program elsewhere
  • Must be a Connecticut resident

Ready to get started?
All students must first attend a SNAP Orientation to learn about qualifications and programs offered, orientations will be held via a WebEx meeting (see dates below).
