Twenty-five outstanding students from 11 community colleges of the Connecticut State Colleges and Universities (CSCU) were honored April 12, at the State Capitol during the annual All-Connecticut Academic Team awards ceremony.

The All-Academic Team recognizes the outstanding scholarly achievements and leadership accomplishments of students enrolled in Connecticut’s community, technical and junior colleges.

Jane Gates, CSCU Provost and Senior Vice President Academic and Student Affairs, and Ben Schutz, All-Connecticut Academic team and Northwestern Connecticut Community College (NCCC) and Wesleyan alumnus made remarks. Phi Theta Kappa advisor and NCCC Professors Crystal Wiggins and Todd Bryda presented the awards.
