Tunxis Alumni Association officers Helen Lozada, president, and Bryan Bonina, immediate past president, display one of several engraved bricks recently added to the walkway.

You or your company’s name can become a permanent part of campus at Tunxis Community College in Farmington. Engraved bricks along the walkway of the growing campus may be reserved through a monetary donation which will support student scholarships at the College.

“Through the generous donations we received, we were able to award scholarships to four hard-working, community-minded Tunxis students this past May,” said Helen Lozada, president of the Tunxis Community College Alumni Association. “Next year we hope we can support even more students in their struggles to achieve their dreams.”

The “Walk of Honor” is an ongoing fund-raiser of the TCC Alumni Association that began in 2007 before completion of the first phase of an impressive campus expansion at Tunxis. Phase II of construction is expected to start in fall 2011, which will add a new 56,000 square-foot classroom building to campus, bringing total square footage to 292,000.
