Tunxis Community College Foundation invites the community to a free “Winter Weather” Lunch and Learn session with NBC CT’s chief meteorologist Ryan Hanrahan on Nov. 20, 11:50 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Tunxis Community College, in Tunxis Room/Cyber Café, 600 Building. Pizza, salads, and beverages will be available. Hanrahan will share information on the difference between snow storm and Nor’easter, what conditions would make a “snow day,” winter weather projections, and fun history weather facts about the region.
