“The Sefinenfrugge,” by Hunter Neal.

The public is invited to an exhibition of color photographic works by Hunter Neal, Jr. in the Wallace Barnes and Barbara Hackman Franklin Art Gallery at Tunxis Community College September 20-October 13. The opening reception is September 20, 4-6 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

Neal is a commercial photographer with over 25 years of experience in corporate and editorial photography. His interest in photography began at age 10, when he developed an intimate way of seeing the unique patterns found in nature while making images in his basement darkroom. In addition to his commercial work, Neal has taught college-level photographic lighting and advanced camera techniques at two colleges,

including Tunxis Community College, and out of his studio in Tariffville. The Simsbury resident holds a bachelor’s degree from Rochester Institute of Technology, and is currently pursuing a master of fine arts degree at Vermont College of Fine Arts.
