Registration for summer 2020 online courses is in progress at Tunxis Community College. For information on how to apply and register, contact the Admissions Office at 860.773.1490, or visit tunxis.edu/apply.

Credit online courses are offered in three five- and eight-week accelerated sessions which start June 1 and July 6.

Students who attend other colleges may enroll in courses at Tunxis and transfer the summer credits earned to their bachelor’s degree or other program of study. Prior to registering for a course, students who plan to transfer summer credits to their home institution should confirm with the receiving college that their Tunxis courses will be accepted toward their studies.

Visit tunxis.edu/summer to view more than 150 Tunxis summer online credit courses. Among the courses offered are: Accounting, American Government, American Literature, Art Appreciation, Art History I & II, Calculus, Criminal Justice, Earth Science, Engineering, Finance, Macroeconomics, Microbiology, Microeconomics, Music History, Pastels, Philosophy, Political Science, Photography, Precalculus, Programming, Psychology, Spanish I & II, Statistics, Sociology, and U.S. History I & II.

Financial aid and payment plans are available for those full- and part-time credit students who qualify, and veterans benefits can be used for summer classes.
