Tunxis Community College Foundation invites the community to “Sip for Student Scholarships,” a wine tasting at Tunxis Community College on May 1 from 5-7 p.m. in the 600 Building, Tunxis Room.

Sample wines from Valley Wines and light hors d’oeuves while enjoying live music by The Green Jazz Band and works from the Tunxis Student Art Show.

The event is one of several annual fundraisers to support student scholarships, programs and other campus initiatives at Tunxis Community College in Farmington.

Tickets are $25, and can be purchased online at tunxis.edu/donate, or email [email protected]. Tickets will also be available at the door for $35. Those participating must be 21 years or older with proper ID. For more information, call 860.773.1357.
