Tunxis Community College’s Workforce Development and Continuing Education Division will host an Open House for its non-credit digital photography program on Oct. 27 from 6-9 p.m. at satellite facility Tunxis@Bristol. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.

The evening will feature several courses in the photography program—“Introduction to Photography,” “Studio Lights,” “Flash Photography,” “Photoshop CS6,” “Photo Composition,” and “Digital Asset Management.” Those who attend will  have opportunities to meet the photography instructors, see demonstrations, participate in a live photo shoot and attend a Q&A session.

Participants are encouraged to bring their DSLR cameras and may also bring up to three of their printed photographic images if they would like to take part in an optional critique of their own work.

The digital photography courses and workshops offered at Tunxis meet for six sessions or less and make great holiday gifts.

To reserve a spot for the event, call 860.314.4700 or email [email protected] by Oct. 23. To view the winter/spring 2016 non-credit course schedule, visit tunxis.edu/ceschedsp16.
