Tunxis Community College will hold a Saturday Enrollment Day walk-in event on August 7 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., for new and continuing students to get help with admissions, advising, course registration, and financial aid for fall semester.

Prior to attending the event, prospective students who have not yet applied for admission should complete an application and placement form online. Required documents and unofficial college transcripts should also be uploaded using the college’s application portal, or can be submitted at the event. For more information on what to bring, visit tunxis.edu/enrollmentday.

A vaccination clinic will be set up during the day accepting walk-ins for COVID-19 vaccines.

Some of the college’s 70 associate degrees and certificates include advanced manufacturing, business, cybersecurity, graphic design, paralegal studies, data science, English as a second language, and an energy management program that offers multiple full scholarships each semester. Among these are 23 Transfer Tickets—degrees that offer seamless transfer to bachelor’s degree programs at the CT state universities and Charter Oak State College.

Fall semester classes begin Aug. 26, with a mix of on-campus, online and hybrid course options.  For more information or assistance, email [email protected].
