Tunxis Community College will hold a Saturday “Enroll in a Day” walk-in event on November 13 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., for new and continuing students to get help with admissions, advising, course registration, and financial aid for spring semester.

Prior to attending the event, prospective students who have not yet applied for admission should complete an application and placement form online. Required documents and unofficial college transcripts should also be uploaded using the college’s application portal or can be submitted at the event. For more information on what to bring, visit tunxis.edu/enrollmentday.

There is still time to apply and register for PACT, Connecticut’s debt-free community college program. Prospective students must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form, apply to Tunxis and register for spring semester classes by Nov. 15 for priority consideration. The FAFSA can be submitted online at www.fafsa.gov. For eligibility information and details on PACT, visit www.ct.edu/pact.

Some of the college’s 70 associate degrees and certificates include advanced manufacturing, business, cybersecurity, paralegal studies, data science, psychology, and an energy management program that offers multiple full scholarships each semester. Among these are 23 Transfer Tickets—degrees that offer seamless transfer to bachelor’s degree programs at the CT state universities and Charter Oak State College.

Spring semester classes begin Jan. 21, with a mix of on-campus, online and hybrid course options.  For more information or assistance, email [email protected].

Tunxis is located at the junction of Routes 6 and 177 in Farmington. For a map of campus, visit tunxis.edu/map.
