Mental Health Counseling and Wellness Services

Students in need of counseling services should email and a counselor will contact them M-F from 9-5.

In an emergency call 911, the suicide prevention hotline (24/7) at 1.800.273.8255, or message the crisis text line – text the word ‘start’ to 741741.

Our counselors have the professional expertise and experience to help students grow in self-understanding and to gain insight into the nature of everyday problems and begin solving them more efficiently. The counseling staff can discuss your academic issues and dilemmas, assist with resolving conflicts affecting school work, and help make related life decisions. Through counseling programs and services we also help students develop skills to cope, manage stress, build confidence, and alleviate other personal barriers to your success in college. Referrals to outside agencies as needed.

Please do not email these forms to Tx-counseling.  Instead, please email for an appointment or call 860-773-1505 and someone will contact you with information on where to send the forms.
